WORK (reflections on art and science, winter 2005 – summer 2006)

A hall in the Municipal theatre in Rotterdam was stripped and rebuilt as a salon.

The audience is seated on stage and gets acquainted with the world of a master in the performative arts. WORK is a monthly reflection on the work of an artist. With film fragments, interviews, live columns and multimedia performance we search for their inspiration, source material, frame of reference, and dreams. WORK is also the artists encounter with one of his inspirators.

WORK evolved into a series of confrontations between a rich gamut of disciplines and visions in art and science.
